Operator and contact
BracketForge at https://bracketforgehq.com is operated by Anthony Settembro as an individual / sole proprietor in California, United States, not an LLC. Contact [email protected] for support, privacy requests and abuse reports. The website and this policy are in English and the website is accessible internationally.
Browser-local tournament data
Tournament names, participant names, settings and results are stored locally in your browser for this site origin. A theme preference is also stored locally. There are no user accounts and no server-side tournament database. The application does not automatically upload your saved tournaments. Local saves are not encrypted or access-controlled by BracketForge; other users of the same browser profile may see them. Use aliases and avoid sensitive or unnecessary personal information.
Snapshot sharing and exports
JSON, PNG, PDF and print exports are generated on your device. A snapshot link contains compressed tournament data in its URL fragment. Compression is not encryption: anyone with the complete link can read the data. Fragments are not included in normal HTTP requests, but complete links can remain in messages, clipboard tools, browser history or sync and recipient systems. Snapshots are not live collaboration, access-controlled or revocable. A recipient saves a separate local copy only by choosing to do so.
Hosting and provider processing
Cloudflare Pages provides static hosting for BracketForge. Delivering and protecting the site involves network requests that can expose IP addresses, requested paths and browser/network information to Cloudflare. Local tournament storage does not mean no network or personal information is processed. Cloudflare and the email providers described below have their own processing practices. This policy does not specify or guarantee Cloudflare log-retention periods, processing locations or provider deletion schedules.
Voluntary support email
The support form creates a local downloadable draft containing your message, selected topic and browser user-agent string; it sends nothing automatically and attaches no tournament automatically. If you choose to email [email protected], your address, message, attachments and email metadata are handled by your email provider, Cloudflare Email Routing and the operator’s existing Gmail inbox, provided by Google. Correspondence is used to address support, privacy requests and abuse reports. Outgoing replies from the branded support address are not yet configured; a branded reply address is not promised.
Support access and retention policy
The operator’s policy is that only Anthony Settembro should have operator-side access to support emails. Cloudflare and Google also process messages as service providers. The target maximum retention period is 12 months beginning when each message is received, unless an unresolved matter or legal obligation requires longer. The operating procedure covers support correspondence, including attachments and related Sent mail. Retention is managed as an operating procedure, not an automated deletion system provided by the website. This target does not set or guarantee deletion periods for provider-managed logs or backups.
Advertising, analytics and tracking
Advertising is disabled. No optional Cloudflare Web Analytics, third-party analytics, advertising or tracking integrations are enabled. Reserved advertisement areas are inactive layout space, not live ads. The application does not perform cross-site advertising tracking or change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Hosting providers may still process network information as described above.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can edit or delete local tournaments in the app, export JSON backups, or clear this site’s browser data to remove local saves and preferences. Browser cleanup, private browsing, storage limits or changing devices/domains can lose or isolate saves. There is no cloud backup or account recovery. Local deletion cannot revoke snapshot links or erase downloads, history or recipients’ copies. For questions or requests about information held in support correspondence, email [email protected] and describe the request without adding unnecessary sensitive information. Applicable privacy rights depend on the law relevant to your request.
Age and international use
BracketForge is intended for adult organizers and users aged 13 or older and is not directed at children under 13. The service is accessible internationally. Local age and parental-permission requirements may differ. BracketForge does not provide age verification or a parental-consent system. Contact [email protected] with a child-privacy concern; do not include unnecessary sensitive information.
Policy updates
Revised policies will be posted on this page with their effective date. If information practices change, the policy will be updated to reflect those changes.
